Christmas Day

This was our first Christmas spent alone with just our family. It was nice to be together but we also missed seeing other family too. Isaac woke up at about 8:00 and took a shower with Daddy. Then he ate toast for breakfast and then we finally opened presents. We called Grandma and Grandpa and we all got on Skype and had a little video chat so they could see Isaac open some of his presents.

Christmas 2009

He didn't really get the whole unwrapping thing. He was more interested in the paper... but he eventually learned. He got some hot wheels cars, racecar track, monster trucks, a book, clothes, and a few other things. He really loves the racecar track and his monster trucks. He playes with them nonstop and makes enging sounds as he pushes them across the floor. It is actually quite comical to watch.

We didn't have a big Christmas dinner. We just quickly made leftover soup for lunch and speggitti for dinner. Isaac really likes speggitti. He takes handfuls of noodles and shoves them in his mouth. It really is a miracle he doesn't bite his fingers because he really gets his whole fist inside his mouth.

Isaac ended up going to be really early. He was just soo worn out from the excitement of Christmas. We were sure to take a quick family Christmas picture before he went down for the night though. I hope everyone had a good Christmas, we did.

It was so much fun watching Isaac opening his gifts. Thanks for including us in on your Christmas morning. We felt more of things because we could actually be a part of your Christmas activites even though we are so far apart.
