We had a wonderful 4th filled with lots of family time. We went to the 3rd of July fireworks in Poulsbo and then for the 4th we went to the Kingston Parade and to Tony town. Tiny Town was an awesome carnival that was free. The kids won lots of prizes and had a great time! We loved spending time together. Afterwards we came home for naps and then headed back to Kingston for more fireworkson the beach. Grandma and Grandpa Powell came with us. Sarah and Harlow's families met us there. We let off a bung of fireworks and watched a bunch. The kids loved the fireworks!!

Snow in June
The Snow family came to town and we had a BLAST!!
Bouncy houses, game farm, movies, playing on the water front! Too fun!
Airplane home
The kids loved our trip to Ohio/New York! It was so much fun to let then play with their Powell cousins! We loved spending time with everyone.
Our airplane ride home was a little sad. Isaac cried for most of the flight and had a pretty high fever. Lydia talked Daddy's ear off, as usual! Ruthann slept most of the way and cuddled Isaac.
Palmyra
We loved Palmyra! It was so much fun to be able to walk through the sacred grove. I loved imagining what it must have been like for Joseph when Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him. Isaac said that walking through the grove made him feel good and hefeeled the Spirit.
We also loved that we were able to walk on the Sacred ground with our family and to feel the power of families. I know that families are so important and that our family can and WILL be together forever through the power of our temple sealings.
I loved seeing the printing press and learning about all the work that went into printing the Book of Mormon.

Airplane
We flew to Ohio for The Powell family reunion on Saturday. We had to wake the kids up at 3:30 to get loaded into the car. They were super excited and talked the whole way to the airport.
When we took off the first time Isaac said it made his tummy feel funny. He fell asleep within minutes of takeoff and his poor head just bobbed all around. Lydia played with her new Minnie Mouse for a very long time before she finally fell asleep. (I was already asleep cuddling her and Ruthann.) Lydia slept threw landing and had to be woken up when it was time to go!
When we arrived in Chicago we ran into Uncle Eric's parents. That was pretty fun! They had been on the same plane as us and were on the next plane too! As we were boarding we told the kids that was the family reunion and it was time to fly home. They were not happy and started crying. We are so mean!
Kirtland
Brandon and I were able to tour Kirtland on Sunday while we were in Ohio. I loved seeing the Neal K. Whitney store. It was wonderful to walk where the Savior and Heavenly Father had once stood. The Spirit was so strong in the School if the Prophets room.
The ashery was one of the ways the Saints funded the building of the Kirtland temple. It was one of the only times that making this product was ever profitable.
