SNOW!!!!

It started to snow on Sunday but didn't begin to really stick until Monday. It was a lot of fun to go play out in the snow and go sleding down the driveway. We ended up doing this at about 10pm Tuesday night. The kids loved it! Daddy and Isaac sleding. daddy is not too good at this whole steering a sled thing... hence the sideways sliding action.
Isaac and Mommy after a nice run on the sled. Mommy is much better at directing the sled where she wants it to go.
Mommy, Isaac, and cousin Benny enjoying the newly fallen snow.

Daddy with Isaac.

When it first started to stick, Isaac went out Monday morning. He wasn't too sure if he actually liked snow then.

This is Isaac and Mommy sledding down the driveway. Isaac had a blast doing this. All the kids would go down with a grown-up and the the grown-up would have to haul the sled back up to the top of the driveway while the kids ran ahead and waited. Thank you Grandpa Wood for buying the sleds! We had lots of fun with them.

As I mentioned earlier, Daddy isn't very good at steering this sled thing. Here he almost takes out the cameraman (Mommy).

Family

Its fun to be with family. Isaac Haning out with his cousin Benny and his uncle Vic, playing video games after playing outside in the snow.

Lots Of Posts

Well, we made our move back to Washington. We left on Sunday the 14th at about 11am. It took us three days of driving to do it. We arrived in Silverdale/Poulsbo at about 11:30pm tuesday night. We were soo close that we decided to drive through the first part of the night just to make it home a day earlier. It was worth it. The next day we unloaded the car and truck. The truck now rides almost 5 in higher without all out stuff in it. Heather's friend Whitney made the trip with us to help out with driving and taking care of Isaac. Lydia flew home with Grandpa Powell. She was very good for him and Grandma. After we unloaded the car and truck, we couldn't find the laptop power cord so it has been a while since we've been able to blog... so here goes a few overdue posts.

BOWLING
We went bowling with Grandma and Grandpa. I think Isaac had the most fun out of everyone. Lydia also enjoyed playing around all the bowling balls. Dad and Grandpa waiting for their turns to bowl. Don't they look alike?
Isaac and Lydia literally having a ball!
Isaac would just stand at the ball return playing with his ball until we said it was his turn. He would carry his own ball all the way from the return to the ramp by himself. He's getting to be such a big little boy.
Mommy and lydia posing for the camera. Wonderful smiles!
Grandpa helping Isaac set his ball up on the ramp. Thanks Grandpa, I love you!

Every time he would bowl, Isaac got soo evcited. It didn't matter if he knocked any pins down or not. It was wonderful seeing him soo happy he could hardly contain himself.

Lydia wishing this would hurry up and start!

Lydia trying to escape! She didn't want to sit still any more!
Daddy's turn!!!
All done!

And my favorite picture of the day!

Mohawk

We gave Isaac his second mohawk today in celebration of Daddy's graduation. He was so good and sat so still while Daddy cut his hair. He loved putting stickers on his tummy!

Grandpa Powell

Grandpa Powell came to visit us for Brandon's graduation. We were so excited for him to arrive. Isaac and I colored a sign for him. Lydia and Isaac sat in Grandpa Wood's truck and held his sign while he arrived. They looked so cute and sweet! Isaac clapping, he thought it was super duper exciting!
Lydia took to Grandpa super fast. Way faster than anyone else.
Our little sign holder.

Scary Face, Coloring, Reading

This is Isaac's scary face. He thinks he is so scary!! He will chase you around the house with his eyes closed scaring you but mostly that means he runs into walls because he can't see! Mommy thinks it's awesome!!
Isaac loves coloring. I think it's so amazing how quickly kids learn to hold there head up with their fists!
I couldn't find Isaac the other day. He had climbed into Lydia's crib (she doesn't sleep in it) and was reading a scratch and sniff book. His favorite!

Goodbye

A family in our ward threw us a little going away party. We had a lot of fun talking to some of the friends that we've made here in the great AZ!!! Maddie made a nice goodbye sign for us. We had meant to get a close-up of the G where she drew a family portrait but we forgot. Sad.
Isaac loves all the toys at the Partiridge's house. They have some really fun ones. And he especially loves the rocks!
Our beautiful Lydia
Tyler and Grant-o chillin'
Maddie: Isaac just totally loves her and she plays so well with him.
Sean showing us the "real" way to ride in a car.
We are really going to be sad when we leave AZ. We have really enjoyed our time here in and we've especially enjoyed meeting some wonderful people and will treasure our time here forever.

Medicine Time

The kids both woke up at midnight last night because they're still not feeling good. We let them lay in our bed while the ate their Tylenol. Lydia still chokes on hers sometimes and Isaac doesn't always keep them in his mouth so we've got to watch the kids the whole time they're taking them. They looked so sweet laying next to each other. Here is one of Isaac giving Lydia a kiss goodnight right before she went back to bed.
And here is one of him cuddling her when she came to lay by him.
I love how much these little people love each other. They are so cute and they love playing together. We have very blessed to have two happy kiddos even when they're sick and tired.

Strep Throat

Well it turns out poor Mr. Ikeman has strep throat. He's so sad but so sweet. He LOVES his medicine though! He gets very excited when we pull it out.

Boys vs Girls

We're MOVING! I'm super excited to be moving. It's going to be so much fun. One thing that we've been trying to get all taken care of is sorting the kids clothing. I have an amazing aunt who gave us all her kids old clothing. They were all perfectly sorted when I got them, I on the other hand am NOT as good of an organizer. So now that the kids have worn them I'm reorganizing them. I thought they looked so pretty.

GIRL'S CLOTHING:

BOY'S CLOTHINGYou can definitely tell a which pile is which. I love little clothing!!

Sick Boy

Poor Isaac is sick today. He was fine this morning but when he woke up from his nap, I felt like I could cook an egg on his skin. I gave hime some tylonel and put him back to bed. He napped for another two hours. He was still super fevered when he woke up but he seemed a little happier. He then layed on the couch for the next 3 hours. Poor guy, its amazing that he didn't get up for 3 hours. His attension span is usually 3 minutes! He enjoyed this little bear cold pack. He even patted his head and tucked him into bed just like Mommy tucks him into bed! I love watching him learn to be a Daddy!

Pajamas

I LOVE these pajamas. They're my favorite ones that the kids have had so far. This is Lydia wearing them today. (Nov 4, 2010, She'll be ten months tommorrow!)
And here is one of Isaac and Grandpa from when Grandpa Powell visited last Thanksgiving. (Nov 29, 2009, Isaac is 14.5 months old!)
I guess it's a good thing Isaac was a small guy and Lydia is such a big girl. This way they can both wear the same Christmas outfits!! I really do love these pajamas. I'm sad that I don't have a better picture of Isaac in them.
