Auntie Rachel saves the day...
At least her sauce does!!! It took these cranky crying babies to a happy state of peas and quiet in an instant! It was awesome! Glad we knew how to whip it up so quickly! Thanks Auntie Rachel for teaching Mommyto make it! We're babysitting Kylie today and loving every minute we get to spend with her!

Crazy!
Life has been a whirlwind of craziness since we moved back to Washington and we're loving every minute of it. Isaac and Lydia think being so close to both sets of Grandparents is the greatest thing ever.
Harlow and Katy had their first baby on Sunday, November 28, 2010. I was able to watch Katy give birth. It was an awesome experience. Charles Bruce Wood was a very large little boy. He weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 6 ozs. Charlie breathed in too much fluid into his lungs he was transferred to the Tacoma General NICU for monitering and has continued to remain in the NICU. He has to remain incident free for 5 days before he can come home. We continue to pray for Charlie and his family!
Brandon and I were able to visit Charlie in the NICU on Tuesday night. He was so cute and sweet. We love getting to see such tiny babies. While we were visiting the NICU a set of twins were born that both weighed less than 2lbs. We saw on of the twins, her whole foot was only as big as one section of my pinky finger. It is amazing and wonderful that babies born so small and weak can still survive. I love and feel so blessed to live in a time when there is so much modern science can keep these high risk babies alive!
Brandon started working on Thursday and seems to be loving his new job. Im so proud of him and grateful that he's now a big college graduate!

Pictures with Santa!

We took the kids to see Santa today. Isaac walked right up and sat on his lap. He had no problem with the big red man holding a candy cane. Lydia wasn't sure but seemed to put up with him. There were no smiles but she wasn't screaming either. Kylie SCREAMED her guts out. She did not like him at all!

SNOW!!!!
It started to snow on Sunday but didn't begin to really stick until Monday. It was a lot of fun to go play out in the snow and go sleding down the driveway. We ended up doing this at about 10pm Tuesday night. The kids loved it!
Daddy and Isaac sleding. daddy is not too good at this whole steering a sled thing... hence the sideways sliding action.
Isaac and Mommy after a nice run on the sled. Mommy is much better at directing the sled where she wants it to go.
This is Isaac and Mommy sledding down the driveway. Isaac had a blast doing this. All the kids would go down with a grown-up and the the grown-up would have to haul the sled back up to the top of the driveway while the kids ran ahead and waited. Thank you Grandpa Wood for buying the sleds! We had lots of fun with them.
Isaac on his way back up the driveway.
As I mentioned earlier, Daddy isn't very good at steering this sled thing. Here he almost takes out the cameraman (Mommy).
Family
Lots Of Posts
Well, we made our move back to Washington. We left on Sunday the 14th at about 11am. It took us three days of driving to do it. We arrived in Silverdale/Poulsbo at about 11:30pm tuesday night. We were soo close that we decided to drive through the first part of the night just to make it home a day earlier. It was worth it. The next day we unloaded the car and truck. The truck now rides almost 5 in higher without all out stuff in it. Heather's friend Whitney made the trip with us to help out with driving and taking care of Isaac. Lydia flew home with Grandpa Powell. She was very good for him and Grandma. After we unloaded the car and truck, we couldn't find the laptop power cord so it has been a while since we've been able to blog... so here goes a few overdue posts.
BOWLING
We went bowling with Grandma and Grandpa. I think Isaac had the most fun out of everyone. Lydia also enjoyed playing around all the bowling balls.
Dad and Grandpa waiting for their turns to bowl. Don't they look alike?
Isaac and Lydia literally having a ball!
Isaac would just stand at the ball return playing with his ball until we said it was his turn. He would carry his own ball all the way from the return to the ramp by himself. He's getting to be such a big little boy.
Mommy and lydia posing for the camera. Wonderful smiles!
Grandpa helping Isaac set his ball up on the ramp. Thanks Grandpa, I love you!
Every time he would bowl, Isaac got soo evcited. It didn't matter if he knocked any pins down or not. It was wonderful seeing him soo happy he could hardly contain himself.

Goodbye
A family in our ward threw us a little going away party. We had a lot of fun talking to some of the friends that we've made here in the great AZ!!! Maddie made a nice goodbye sign for us. We had meant to get a close-up of the G where she drew a family portrait but we forgot. Sad.
Medicine Time
The kids both woke up at midnight last night because they're still not feeling good. We let them lay in our bed while the ate their Tylenol. Lydia still chokes on hers sometimes and Isaac doesn't always keep them in his mouth so we've got to watch the kids the whole time they're taking them. They looked so sweet laying next to each other. Here is one of Isaac giving Lydia a kiss goodnight right before she went back to bed.
