Pink Eye

The kids have pink eye. I'm so grateful for all the antibiotics that make my kids go from glued shut eyes to clean clear and happy!

Precious moments.

Today I am grateful for those little moments that children bring into your life, you know, those moments that bring peace, joy, giggles, and love into your heart. A few days ago while I was driving home from Silverdale, the kids were a little cranky so I told them a story. They love stories and Isaac requested a Santa story.

I made up a story about a little boy named Tommy. Tommy's daddy lost his job and they didn't have enough money to buy food or toys for Christmas. Isaac started crying, I asked him what was wrong and he said, "Mommy, we give mine piggy (aka his piggy bank, it's clear full, we just bought him a new one.) to poor Tommy. His Mommy buy him snackies and toys with mine monnies." Isaac was so concerned about poor Tommy. He made my heart melt.

Body

Today I am thankful that our bodies are designed so perfectly that they can solve their own problems. Today, Lydia choked on an apple slice. She was have a very had time breathing, but her body new how to take care of it. She was able to dislodge the apple by herself, too bad that meant lots of puking to get it out. We love our Lydia!

Blankets

Today I'm thankful for blankets. They keep you nice and warm, help you feel safe and they're pretty!

Vic

I am grateful for my awesome brother-in-law. He came to my rescue yesterday and fixed my car while I was stranded at Dairy Queen! Uncle Vic you rock!

Lydia

Today I am thankful for my sweet little Lala. I love her cuddles, they're always my favorite part of my day! She is my little cuddle bug!

Isaac

Today I am thankful for Isaac. I love how much he makes me laugh. I love the way he says yes. I love that through his eyes trains have become one of my favorite things. Isaac is always smiling, hugging, and kissing. I love when he tells me only one kiss Mommy and holds up two fingers. I love my little blonde, mischievous train man!
