Lydia

Lydia is now 1 year, 2 months, and 10 days old. She is our beautiful little baby. She talks constantly, says full sentences, and continues to repeat whatever she's saying until you get her what she wants. She is sweet. She loves to give kisses, which are usually open mouthed kisses, but if you're really lucky she'll give you a couple closed mouthed kisses. She loves Uncle Harlow's dog. Every time we see him she says dog over and over and over until we leave. She's the energizer bunny. She loves jumping even though her feet never leave the ground.

Last week we said goodbye to her bottle. She's done fabulous! She asked for it a couple times, but we just reminded her that she's a big girl now and doesn't need a bottle. The hardest time she had was about three days into the process. Sarah had made Kylie a bottle when Lydia was sleeping. She woke up and it was still out. She freaked until we cleared it and put it out of site!

Lydia is a fantastic baby. She loves to make Indian brave noises, popping sounds, and any other noises she can make with her mouth! She giggles and smiles all the time. She's a total flirt. She loves to make people think she wants them to hold her and then freaks out as soon as she's in their arms!

We call her Lala, because this is what Isaac calls her. She loves to sing and squeals at the top of her lungs during the hymns at church. She is a total Daddy's girl. She gets so excited whenever she sees him and cries his name when she wakes up in the morning.

We love our little princess. She makes every moment of our lives a little more special.
