Trunk or Treat!

Halloween was extra fun this year.  The kids were so excited and seemed to understand what was going on way more than last year. 

 Isaac and Lydia had awesome Gnomeo and Juliet costumes made by their fabulous Grandma Powell.  Isaac was so excited and he love, love, loved wearing his Gnomeo.

 We went to two different trunk or treats this year.  One at Grandma Powell's church building on Friday night, and one again at our church building on Halloween night.  They were both super fun.

 The kids loved walking around getting candy.  Lydia's basket was so full she was dragging it along with her.  She would not let me help her though!

 Daddy went as an escaped psycho killer with his mouth stitched shut.  Kylie and Lydia did not like Brandon's costume.  They started crying as we were leaving Walmart and all Brandon had done was paint his face white. 

 When trunk or treat was over, Isaac said he wanted to go home.  I told him we had to find Daddy first, and Lydia responded with "No find Daddy, Daddy Scary."  She would also push him away any time he came near and tell him "Go way Daddy."

 The kids enjoyed hanging out in the truck bed once they were too tired to walk around any more.  Plus their baskets were too heavy any way.

 Harlow and Katy were vampires and I didn't even recognize them.  I wouldn't have known who they were, but sweet little Charlie gave it away.  The funny thing was, Lydia did not like her Daddy's makeup but she wasn't at all scared of Uncle Harlow and Aunt Katy's.  She promptly hugged and kissed them.
