Happy Birthday Isaac

Isaac turned 4 this month and had a great birthday! A couple days before his birthday our family and Grandma Powell went to the fire station for a tour. Isaac is way into fire trucks so he loved it! The fire people gave him tons of attention and told him how great he was! It was a fantastic birthday event, especially since it was free!!

For his actual birthday our whole family was horribly sick so we didn't do much of anything. We would have stayed home from church all together, but Uncle Harlow blessed his new baby that day and we didn't want to miss it. We tried to stay far away from everyone else so we didn't pass our germs! Afterwards we had dinner at Auntie Katy's and Uncle Harlow's. Then we went home for a super early bed time because everyone needed lots of sleep!

On Wednesday we had Isaac's birthday party at the park. Grandma Powell made him an awesome cupcake road with a fire truck, police car, and a fire cupcake for the fire truck to put out. Isaac thought it rocked!! He loved all the attention he got from all his friends and their families. Mommy even let him play in the water fountain until he was drenched, which he loved too.

Sometime during that week we went out for his birthday dinner to red robin! The kids were in heaven! They love when they come out and sing the happy birthday song and it was even better when they sang it to them!! (that's what these pictures are from. Enjoying their birthday ice cream!)

We are so glad to have Isaac in our family. He is a wonderful protective big brother. He loves to cuddle with mommy anytime! (I hope he is still a cuddler when he gets bigger!) He loves fire trucks and school buses! He keeps begging me to let him go to school, but he still has two years before kindergarten starts! We love our big 4 year old!
