Guitar to the head, pine cone to the eye...

Saturday was a rough day for Isaac. He and Daddy were pkaying pine cone baseball and Isaac took one right to his open eye. We flushed it with a ton of water and hoped that would be the end of it...

Fast forward a few hours and we hear a loud bang from downstairs followed by screams.  Isaac run up the stairs covered in blood from a nice 1.5inch gap in the back of his head. It looked deep so we headed to the emergency room. They gave Isaac 3 staples.

We are so glad we decided to take him in because he started complaining about how bad his eye hurt. It turned out he had a pretty deep scratch on his cornea. They gave us some antibiotics to keep it from getting infected.

We survived our first ER trip as parents.  Good times.
