Another thing we did while in California was visit San Francisco. Kim, Matt, Heather, and I went. We had a lot of fun. We rode the BART to Powell Street and got off. We were going to ride the trolly car but there was a 2 hour wait to do so. We decided to buy a day pass for transportation. We hoped on a bus and went to China Town. Heather's favorite part was looking up to the apartment windows above and seeing all the old lady lingere hanging out to dry. She thought it was soo funny. We waked around there looking at all the shops and sights and then made our way to Little Italy. We toured these streets for about 4-5 hours. Then we hoped on another bus and headed to Pier 39 (Fisherman's Warf). We toured the shops there.
Matt was jealeous of the sock monkies Heather had made for the kids. He convinced Heather to make him one if he bought the socks. Matt bought a pair of RAINBOW socks from a little shop in San Francisco. I think a red flag is in order.
We walked to the Giridelli (i have no clue how it's spelt) chocolate factory. It wasn't that great. We did get a free sample though.

You take such good pictures, Son!
That was such an unusual day in S.F., sunshine and no clouds! That was good you were able to see those sights. Did you keep Matt away from Castro street? They use bananas there for training aids as well as a food item (if you catch my drift). DAD
yay SF! it is my ancestral home (my parents are from there)
how funny that you found Powell street!
